Gasp of Bloom was a mixed-media artistic project undertaken in isolation during the first lockdown of 2020. A reflection on life, death and the necessity of finding beauty in the decay which inevitable unfolds in between.

Each A3-sized print in the series is formed from a meticulous arrangement of organic materials, such as dried flowers and leaves, on a painted background.
